Note: Ch 2 counts as first hdc in each row. Also, each round is joined with a slip stitch, not worked in a continuous spiral, and the work is not turned while worked in the round.

With Cornmeal, ch 2.

1. Sc 6 in 2nd ch from hook. (6)

2. Ch 2, hdc in same st as joining, hdc 2 in each st around. Join with sl st to 2nd ch of 0first ch 2. (12)

Rep Row 40 30 times more, or to half of desired length of strap. Fasten off.

“Ear Flap” Straps – Side 2.

From last stitch worked in Row 30 on Side 1, sk 15 st and reattach Cherry Red yarn.

Rep Side 1 “Ear Flap.”

Stitch both sides of strap together. Fasten off. Weave in all ends. Line if desired.

Pom Pom

Using all three colors of yarn, make a pom pom. Sew it into the “top” of the bag, in the center of the Cormeal section.
