6. Sc each st around. Join with sl st.
7. Sc each st around. Join with sl st.
At the end of row 7, switch to carrot.
8-14: Sc each st around. Join with sl st.
At the end of row 14, switch to Cherry Red.
15-18: Sc each st around. Join with sl st.
Earflap 1
19: Sl st 6, sc 7, ch 1, turn
20: Sc2tog, sc 3, sc2tog
21: Sc2tog, sc, sc2tog
22: Sc3tog.
Fasten off.
Earflap 2
19: Skipping 10 previously unworked stitches on row 19, join with an sc and sc 6 more, ch 1, turn (There will be 5 stitches left unworked on row 19 when you are done with this.
