Note: This is my own creation. I have nothing to do with Doctor Who or the BBC, much to my everlasting sadness.

It’s bigger on the inside….

Tardis Chart

Fasten off after R32. With black, either sl st through the fabric or embroider details on as shown on chart.

Back Piece: Make identical to Front Piece.

Side piece:

With Blue, ch 86.

R1: Sc across. Ch 1, turn.

R2: Sc 28, Hdc 29, Sc 28. Ch 1, turn.

R3: Rep R2.

Assembly:

With black, starting with R5 of front right, join side piece to front piece with sc around to front left. Repeat with back piece.

Lining: Fold the fabric piece in half so that it is 18″ x 10.5″. Sew the sides to 1/2″ from the top. Fold over the top 1/2″ and sew into R4 of the front and back pieces. Gather the extra material and sew into the side piece. This makes the lining bigger than the bag itself.

Fasten off and weave in all ends.
